SNOW

Well, good old Colorado got pounded with snow last night and today. Being someone who hates snow, this wasn't fun. On top of the snow I had to go to work. I will say work wasn't bad at all, it was very slow and we all had a good time goofing off all day, but there were still too many people going to the bank on a snow day. After getting to work after a delayed opening, I found out we were ordering pizza with the company card and closing 2 hours early! I made it home safe and have to say, for a snow day, it wasn't to bad. Now, bring on that summer heat!

Gearing up for Summer

I know its been a while since I last updated. To catch you all up, my ankle is now fully healed. I'm working on getting back to being able to run and jump, but for the most part the swelling and pain is gone.

I've been busy the last few months job searching. I'm having to make up lost time from being sidelined with my ankle. I have a part time job cleaning a small church two nights a week. It's money to help with bills, but I'm hoping and praying I'll find something more long term very soon. I was able to paint my room and get it looking a bit more grown up like.

I just finished up a Tuesday night class at my church on denominational doctrines. It was very interesting and I'm sure will come in useful in the future. In a month and a half will be our church's yearly Vacation Bible School. Before that arrives I will be busy helping get whatever needs to be done complete.

In two weeks I'm headed to Oklahoma for what seems to have become the annual friends wedding. Last May my cousin Jeremy gets married and now my good friend Kelly is getting hitched. It should be a fun time seeing some people I haven't seen in over a year.

I was offered a Summer Internship with Disney which I would have LOVED to do, but because of a number of reasons, mostly financially, was unable to participate. I hope sometime in the future I will be able to go back and work at Disney.

I'm not sure what this summer will hold for me, but I'm excited for it to be here. I'm hoping I'll have a full time job and won't break anymore bones, but only time will tell. Until next time, see ya.

End of October update

Well, to no surprise to me, I still don't have a job. I had a few leads that didn't pan out. I'm still looking but the whole job thing has kinda been put on hold. This past Saturday my friends from OC were in town for Fall Break. We went out to play football and next thing I know, my ankle is broken. The noise of the snap was pretty loud and at the time was the worst part of the whole thing. I'm not in much pain, just limited mobility. I'm not supposed to walk on it for a month and then I should get a boot that i can walk on with a crutch. So given what I'v been handed, I'm living it up sleeping and laying around watching TV and movies all day. Other than my laying around, how about them Broncos? 6-0 way to go, hope that keeps up, I hate the new QB and Coach, but I'm glad we are doing well. Thats all for now, upcoming for me, a Halloween party, hopefully Saw 6 and well if all goes well 6 weeks I will be able to walk again. Until next time, take care.

Summer?

In a way this summer has felt like summer, no job (can't find one) and relaxing, but on the other hand, it hasn't; Cold rainy weather almost everyday, I need the sun!

This is kinda short, but it's mostly cuz i've seen you all in the last few weeks. I'm finished at Disney. It was a blast, and that is an understatement. For anyone still in college, or not started yet, let me strongly urge you to try the Disney program. As i explain it, it's a 5 month paid vacation. I had a great time and made dozens of memories that i won't forget. 

Now i'm back in the real world no more castles, princesses, mice or magic here. Just colder weather, job search, future planning/worrying and the best of all, the first school loan bill on its way. If anyone has suggestions of what i should do, let me know, i'll try almost anything cuz i'm out of ideas. Life is still good, don't get me wrong, just kinda looking for the next step along the way. 

This past week and the current week are busy. Parker is having its VBS so i've been decorating, and enjoying time with people i haven't seen in a while. I'm picking back up right where i left off at, when i get busy with stuff around here, it's hard to believe I was gone for 5 months, but thats the nice thing and probably why i missed everyone, cuz no matter what i always have a place here at home. 

Although my time at Disney is over,.... for now, i'll still keep this blog updated. So don't give up on me, haha. I'm sure that i will get to write things on here that will live up to if not exceed my disney postings, only time will tell. Thanks all for following along and hope you continue to follow my journey.
